In addition to the boarding facility and sanctuary, TLC is a safe haven for rescued exotic birds and special needs birds. We do not discriminate and welcome any injured, neglected, maimed, disabled, or abandoned exotic birds. Our rescue facility will have separate areas for special needs birds.

Meet Tiki! Tiki is a 23 year-old Scarlett Macaw whose legs were permanently paralyzed at six years old because she ate a piece of a Pothos plant. A veterinarian saved her life, but now she must live with her disability. It doesn't keep this girl down. She has a very happy disposition and loves to be held, stroked, and talked to.
