TLC’s Mission Statement
TLC Bird Haven was established to provide a permanent home for neglected, unwanted, orphaned or special needs exotic birds. TLC’s goals are:

• To host a facility where all exotic birds can be entrusted.
• Offer a facility where birds receive proper nourishment and
• attentive daily care in order to thrive as well as live in an open
• environment, not caged.
• To provide educational programs to teach proper care and special
  requirements of exotic birds bred or placed in domesticity.

In addition, TLC offers a boarding facility that provides a loving environment for pet birds.

Sanctuary in mid-late 2010!

What Makes Us Different
We do not breed nor sell birds. TLC’s only job is loving and caring for the permanent and temporary residents of TLC Bird Haven. TLC adopts and rescues all exotic birds from parakeets to macaws. All proceeds from TLC Boarding Facility, a “5 Star” Bird Hotel, go to help support the permanent residents of TLC Bird Haven. Donations are appreciated and tax deductible and we always need volunteers. Please check out our Get Involved page to learn more.

Something to Think About...
Your bird will probably outlive you. If you have not made arrangements for the care of your feathered friend, Contact Us. We believe in a clean, cheerful environment. All of our areas have windows for natural lighting and fresh air. Birds need something to look at besides boring walls. All birds that can be introduced into the open flights will be and those that cannot will have a separate safe place to live.
